Friday 13th

I didnt even realise it was Friday the 13th last week. Oh well, i don't really get into superstitions, i always just pretend that they are going to bring me good luck instead. Bens in Sydney with the GMTA bunch, so i have been trying my hardest to get some work done. You might even see my portfolio up on hellokarma soon as well. You'll have to wait and see. Rins been skating hard, he even won the game of skate on Friday. ps rin you can't use this photo on your myspace.

One Year

Its around the one year anniversary since i started freelancing and working another 2 jobs (momentum and GMTA). In that year i have learnt that if you want to be a freelancer...

1. There is no such thing as free time - and when you think there is, you are still thinking about ideas for projects.
2. Be willing to work after hours (early morning and after work) and on weekends.
3. Be self motivated - i definately can improve on this one.

That being said, it has been enjoyable and i have met heaps of new clients and am looking forward to getting more. If anyone reading this blog needs a designer just contact me via email here. I am now going to dedicate the next month or so to create my online portfolio, which means hellokarma.com will finally have something to it rather than just a blog.
